Job summary

John Taylor MAT is seeking a hardworking Cover Supervisor to join our Trust on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027. The role is full-time, term-time only with 6 INSET days and 37 hours per week across 39.2 weeks per year, Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:00pm (earlier finish 3:30pm one day a week).

You will deliver lessons in the absence of staff, follow lesson plans and work with teaching staff to support students. This post is exempt from certain acts; safeguarding checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in the absence of staff according to provided lesson plans and schemes of learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to be role models and support student learning.
