Job summary

Northampton Academy is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team and support students and staff across the academy. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and resilient individual to provide strong support and assistance in all areas of the school.

You will be expected to present pre-prepared work to groups of students in the absence of the class teacher, undertake supervisory duties and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• You will present pre-prepared work to groups of students when a class teacher is absent.
• The post will include other supervisory duties and administrative tasks.
• Extremely organised, focussed with a calm and friendly approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with students, staff and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Present pre-prepared work to groups of students in the absence of the class teacher.
• Undertake supervisory duties and administrative tasks as required.
• Maintain order and provide a supportive environment for learners.
• Collaborate with staff to support student progress and wellbeing.
• Support colleagues with classroom management and supervision tasks.
