Job summary

Clitheroe Royal Grammar School is seeking a term-time Cover Supervisor to cover lessons for short-term teacher absence and to work across Main School and Sixth Form. The role supports curriculum delivery and helps maintain continuity of learning, with additional administrative duties when not covering lessons.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, reliability and the ability to work on their own initiative.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with young people
• Experience in providing effective administrative work
• Ability to prioritise workload, work flexibly and meet deadlines
• Computer literate with familiarity of Microsoft Office 365
• Effective written and verbal communication
• High motivation, initiative, energy and drive
• Knowledge of child protection, health & safety, confidentiality and data protection policies
• Willing to undergo first aid training and fulfil duties
• Full Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Cover lessons for short-term teacher absence and across two sites
• Support curriculum delivery and continuity of learning
• Assist with extra-curricular activities
