Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary school settings in the Tameside area. You will lead classes in the absence of teachers, deliver pre-set lesson plans, and help maintain a positive learning environment.

This position offers flexible short-term, long-term and potential permanent opportunities with excellent PAYE rates, guaranteed pay schemes, CPD, social events, pension contributions and a dedicated consultant to support you.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools.
• Ability to manage classroom and maintain a calm, focused learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to supporting young people's learning and development.
• Able to provide suitable references and hold/enrol Enhanced DBS and Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead classes in the absence of the teacher.
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans.
• Maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support students with their work.
• Manage behaviour effectively and take registers.
• Provide clear handover information to teaching staff.
