Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic Core Subject Supply Teachers to support schools across Reading. This flexible temporary role is ideal for qualified educators who enjoy delivering engaging lessons and positively impacting student learning.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience delivering English, Maths and/or Science.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Commitment to raising standards and student achievement.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the school and adapt where necessary.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents where appropriate.
• Ensure safeguarding and student welfare remain a priority at all times.
