Job summary

Aspire People is seeking qualified Computer Science teachers for secondary roles across East Birmingham and surrounding areas. Roles include daily supply, short-term, long-term, and permanent opportunities, covering KS3 Computing, KS4 GCSE Computer Science, and potentially A Level Computer Science where appropriate.

We welcome ECTs and experienced teachers, with placements offering competitive daily rates and weekly pay across locations such as Bordesley Green, Small Heath and Washwood Heath.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or qualified teacher learning status (QTLS).
• Strong Computer Science subject knowledge and ability to teach across secondary age range.
• Confident classroom management and ability to teach KS3/KS4/GCSE where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Longer-term positions may include planning, marking and assessment responsibilities.
• Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4/GCSE where appropriate.
• Adapt lessons to different secondary age groups and ability levels.
