Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a well-established Watford secondary school to recruit a Business Studies Teacher for September. The role covers KS4 and KS5, with lessons designed to develop understanding of business concepts, finance, marketing, and strategy.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and support students preparing for examinations within a supportive department led by experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach KS4 and KS5 Business Studies.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• PGCE or other recognised teacher training.
• Strong knowledge of business concepts and exam specifications.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging, challenging lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons across KS4 and KS5.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
