Job summary

Bath City Academy in Bath is recruiting a dynamic Teacher of Business Studies to join its Social Sciences faculty on a full-time, permanent basis starting in January. You will deliver engaging Business lessons across GCSE/BTEC and A-Level/BTEC nationals, guiding learners through marketing, finance, operations and strategic management.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK teaching credentials (PGCE / SCITT / QTLS).
• Honors degree in Business Management, Enterprise, Finance or related discipline.
• Proven track record delivering GCSE/A-Level/BTEC Business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Teach Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and 5.
• Direct and support enterprise initiatives and guest speaker events.
• Guide coursework portfolios and exam preparation for GCSE/A-Level/BTEC.
• Maintain digital business labs and resources.
• Assess and report student progress in BTEC portfolios and exams.
• Fulfill pastoral duties as a Form Tutor.
