Job summary

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board in Pontyclun, Wales is seeking an innovative Occupational Therapist to join the acute team on a fixed-term/secondment basis for 12 months to cover maternity leave. You will work with the MDT to deliver patient-centred assessments and interventions, maintaining a defined caseload in an inpatient setting.

Excellent communication, time management and prioritisation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined caseload using evidence-based principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in an inpatient setting.
• Ensure clinical records are kept to agreed standards and reported accurately.
• Collaborate with clients, carers and the MDT to identify relevant goals.
• Maintain clinical records to agreed standards and report to others.
• Participate in CPD and develop skills through the Band 5 Development Programme.
