Job summary

A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a motivated Band 5 Dietitian to join its Dietetic team. This role offers diverse clinical experiences in areas such as general medicine and surgery. The successful Dietitian will work closely with patients, staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Broad range of learner placements or postgraduate experience in the NHS.
• Experience of working with the general public.
• Experience of working as a Band 5 dietitian.

Responsibilities

• Provide best practice advice on nutrition to patients.
• Maintain and demonstrate a personal development plan.
• Manage workload and meet targets.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver user-led services.
• Provide dietetic advice within the Therapy Centre.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and MDT.

Skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to self-manage and prioritise caseload daily

Good IT skills including Microsoft Office

Education

Degree or equivalent in Dietetics

Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council

Member of the BDA
