Job description

Overview

Network Engineer. Duration: 6 months, potential for further work. Location: Full time onsite in Corsham. IR35 Status: Inside IR35. DV Required.

We are looking for a network engineer to work as part of a multi skilled agile team, including security, service and management where teamwork is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Provide varied and complex technical support activities as part of project deployment, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance.
• Advise project SME on preventive maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Technical implementation of medium to large infrastructures within timescale estimates and identifying risks. On larger projects, work within a technical framework of the project to meet customer requirements.
• Work within a team with in-depth product knowledge to implement technical best practice without supervision.
• Manage systems within SLA, propose and implement improvements to meet service level requirements.
• Take ownership for obtaining the information required to diagnose and resolve problems. Engage with third parties to jointly resolve in-depth product issues where necessary.
• Stay up to date with new products, tools and techniques, encouraging their use within the business to promote continuous improvement of capability.

Security clearance and eligibility
