Job summary

A Defence industry SME is looking for an experienced SRE to join their team in Hereford. The role requires expertise in configuration management tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services. Candidates must hold active DV clearance or be eligible to obtain it. This position offers a rate of £550 per day for an initial duration of 3 months, with 3 days per week on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with configuration management tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift is required.
• Familiarity with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines is essential.

Role Details

• Rate: £550 per day (Outside IR35)
• Duration: Initial 3 months
• Location: Hereford - 3 days per week on site
• Clearance: MOD DV

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience using configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef
• Experience working with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD & Jenkins
• Experience with Prometheus or Grafana.
• Strong understanding of SQL
• Linux administration and shell scripting experience
• Experience working with AWS EC2, RDS & S3
