About the Role

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Project ManagerwithDV clearanceto lead high-profile defence and secure IT projects. This is a hands‑on, hybrid role based in Bristol, delivering complex programmes from initiation to completion usingAgile and traditional project management approaches, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.

Job Title: DV-Cleared Senior Project Manager
Location: Bristol (Hybrid: 2–3 days on‑site)
Contract: 6 months (initial)
Rate: £600 p/d, Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams across the full project lifecycle using Agile methodologies where appropriate.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure programme objectives are met.
• Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, issues, and decisions.
• Ensure compliance with MOD, government, and security standards for DV‑cleared projects.
• Coordinate with technical leads to ensure deliverables meet quality, performance, and security requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices across project management processes.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Current DV clearance (essential).
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-million‑pound defence or high‑security IT programmes.
• Strong experience with Agile and Prince2 methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels.
• Expertise in risk management, change control, and governance frameworks.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating cross‑functional teams.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with secure IT infrastructure, digital transformation programmes, or defence technology projects.
• Experience in hybrid delivery environments, coordinating on‑site and remote teams.
