Job summary

A leading network security firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Network Security Engineer (NOC) to protect critical network infrastructure. This role involves supporting incident triage with the SOC, designing secure network solutions, and optimizing NOC tools in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VLANs, and load balancing.
• Experience as a NOC or Network Security Engineer in a 24x7 setting.
• Hands-on with Cisco, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Familiar with IPS/IDS, SSL decryption, and deep packet inspection.
• Experience managing Bluecoat or F5 proxies.
• Knowledge of IPSec, SSL/TLS, VPNs, 2FA, and DMZ architectures.
• Comfortable with monitoring tools like PRTG or Nagios.
