Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer (DV Clearable) to join a multidisciplinary team in Cheltenham or London. The role focuses on designing, prototyping and deploying production ML solutions for critical defence systems, collaborating with product managers, ML scientists and software engineers.

You'll work with state-of-the-art ML methods, maintain robust code, and communicate complex ML concepts to partners.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related STEM field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proficiency in Python with clean, well-documented code
• Hands-on production infra experience: Docker, Linux, CI/CD, MLOps, cloud platforms
• Experience with state-of-the-art ML libraries
• Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and customer-facing delivery teams
