DV Cleared Enterprise Architect - Outside IR35 (Rate negotiable DOE) - Start Before Christmas - Hybrid

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to support strategic digital defence initiatives. This critical role is part of an important project that involves rationalising complex secret portfolios and liaising with multiple stakeholders across government sites. This scope of work will initially run to March 31st, with likely extensions beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and realisation of enterprise architectures, ensuring they align with overarching strategic objectives.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, providing architectural oversight and guidance across multiple high-side locations
  • Produce and review architectural views, with an emphasis on secure, secret-level data handling, primarily on MODNET.
  • Utilise architecture tools such as Sparx, and frameworks like TOGAF, to support project delivery.
  • Support the rationalisation of secret & above portfolios, ensuring compliance with security standards and stakeholder requirements.
Essential
  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture within defence - Specifically Defence Intelligence.
  • Active DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
  • Demonstrable experience with enterprise architecture tools, specifically SparxEA.
  • Strong understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and NAF.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to work with diverse teams and approaches.
  • Flexibility to travel as required to various sites within the UK.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with MODNET or other secure government networks.
  • Background in digital defence initiatives or digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with additional architecture frameworks or standards relevant to defence projects.
