Job summary

A technology solutions provider seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to work on-site in Gloucestershire. The role involves maintaining a critical service and requires current DV clearance. Responsibilities include managing integrations, optimising performance, and providing technical support. Ideal candidates have strong experience in Infrastructure as Code, scripting, CI/CD tools, and cloud networking, along with a collaborative team spirit.

Qualifications

• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitPod or Concourse CI.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts.
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic Linux SysAdmin - RHCSA.
• Experience with MongoDB and/or Elastic.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage customer-requested integrations.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health, and optimise system performance.
• Deploy updates and perform regular maintenance.
• Provide second-line technical support.
• Automate tasks and enhance customer experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with teams for requirement gathering.
