Job summary

Searchability NS&D is seeking a Data Scientist / AI Engineer for a permanent on-site role in Manchester. An active enhanced DV clearance is required, with junior to lead levels available and a salary from £45k to £95k DoE plus a 15% clearance bonus.

The role centers on machine learning, GenAI, NLP, and consultancy with clients across public and private sectors. You will design, scale, and deliver AI solutions while leading teams and communicating value.

Qualifications

• Experience in ML, GenAI, NLP, and related data science methods.
• Ability to engage clients and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Experience securing work through RFIs/RFPs and bids.
• Proficient with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Databricks/AzureML.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale impactful ML/GenAI solutions with clients.
• Identify challenges, define solutions, and communicate value.
• Lead teams to successful delivery and maintain delivery quality.
• Publish whitepapers and present at conferences.
