Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy is recruiting a Duty Pharmacy Manager in Wales. You will oversee pharmacy operations, deliver NHS and private services, and provide trusted healthcare advice to customers, while supporting community health initiatives.

You’ll lead and develop the team under the Pharmacy Manager, foster relationships with GP practices and Primary Care Networks, and ensure accurate NHS claim processing. Flexible working and career development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required and GPhC registered.
• Willingness to join PVG scheme.
• DBS check conducted before employment.
• Experience leading a pharmacy team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supply prescriptions and NHS/Private services; provide healthcare advice to customers.
• Support charity programme; advise community members at risk of cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
• Support Pharmacy Manager to lead, train and develop colleagues.

• Youll supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and Private services and provide healthcare advice to customers


• You'll play an active role in our charities support program giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer,heartdisease, and diabetes.


• Youll support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.


• Youll support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs surgeries


• You'll ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.

• Youll have a Pharmacy Degree.


• Youll be passionate about leading and empowering a team.


• Youll be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and be willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme well help you with this when we offer you the role.


• Youll complete a DBS check (organised by us) before employment.

Our Duty Pharmacy Managers are supported by wider store teams, such as security, stock replenishment, range management, and administration to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for our customers and patients, whilst maintaining theirs and our colleagues safety.
