Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Hastings. This permanent role offers flexible working hours and the chance to lead a busy team delivering NHS and private services, along with community outreach.

You will support the Pharmacy Manager, develop colleagues, and help build relationships with Primary Care Networks, ensuring accurate NHS claims and high-quality customer care in a dynamic store environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist registered with GPhC, PVG safety scheme considered.
• Experience leading pharmacy teams and delivering NHS services.

You will be responsible for

• You'll supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and Private services and provide healthcare advice to customers
• You'll play an active role in our charities support program giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
• You'll support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.
• You'll support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries
• You'll ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.

You will need

• You'll have a Pharmacy Degree.
• You'll be passionate about leading and empowering a team.
• You'll be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and be willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme - we'll help you with this when we offer you the role.
• You'll complete a DBS check (organised by us) before employment.

Our Duty Pharmacy Managers are supported by wider store teams, such as security, stock replenishment, range management, and administration to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for our customers and patients, whilst maintaining theirs and our colleague's safety.
