Part-Time Duty Manager (Two Positions Available – 18.5 hours per week)

£13,201 - £14,071 per annum

Mansfield Palace Theatre is looking for two enthusiastic and dedicated Duty Managers to join our Front of House team. If you’re passionate about live entertainment and thrive in a busy, customer-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Duty Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe running of the theatre during performances and events. You’ll supervise front-of-house operations, lead our friendly team of staff and volunteers, and help deliver an exceptional experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage front-of-house operations during performances and events
  • Lead and support staff and volunteers to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all audiences
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, performers, and contractors
  • Handle any issues or emergencies calmly and efficiently
  • Managing and Ordering Stock
  • Maintenance Responsibilities
About You:
  • Friendly, confident, and an excellent communicator
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or venue/event management
  • Able to lead a team with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
