Are you a passionate people person looking to make a long lasting positive impact within your community? Horton Housing are recruiting for permanent full time Dual Support Workers in the Keighley area. Pay is £26,084 per annum and you will be entitled to 6 weeks paid annual leave (plus bank holidays) and have access to the Employee Assistance Programme.
The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting people in their day to day life skills set, which will include supporting people to maintain their tenancy agreements, achieving successful outcomes. You will be responsible for delivering tenancy ready training and support to enable people to move into permanent housing. You will also assist people in the practical and emotional aspects of maintaining their accommodation, liaising with other support services. You will ensure immediate needs are met, such as access to welfare benefits, food, clothing and health care. You will provide appropriate support based on the person's needs, using assessment and support plans.
