Job summary

Zental, a boutique private dental group with Outstanding CQC rating, is seeking an experienced Dual-site Dental Practice Manager for two London clinics. You will lead day-to-day performance, balance patient experience, team wellbeing and commercial outcomes while maintaining regulatory readiness.

You will develop the multidisciplinary team, drive KPIs such as utilization and revenue, oversee diary management, budgets and stock, and support growth through community engagement and clinical

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of KPIs, performance management and commercial targets.
  • Strong understanding of practice financials including revenue drivers, costs and budgeting.
  • Confident, credible leadership capable of motivating and developing others.
  • Experience handling people matters including performance improvement and absence management.
  • Organised, structured and solutions-focused with consistent follow-through.
  • Patient-centred mindset with ability to manage concerns and complaints effectively.
  • Experience in multi-site operations or business development management.

Responsibilities

  • Support calm, high-performing practice operations balancing patient experience, team well-being and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead day-to-day practice performance across people, patients and performance metrics.
  • Develop and lead the multidisciplinary team with clear expectations and ownership.
  • Track and manage core KPIs including utilisation, conversion, revenue and patient experience.
  • Partner with treatment coordinators and clinicians to optimise the patient journey.
  • Oversee diary management to balance productivity with a high-quality patient experience.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and ongoing CQC readiness.
  • Manage costs, stock and budgets in line with targets and drive improvements.
  • Resolve patient feedback and complaints with care and pace.
  • Support local growth through marketing activity and community engagement.

Essential
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, performance management, and commercial targets
  • Strong understanding of practice level financials, including revenue drivers, cost control, and budget oversight
  • Confident, credible leadership style with the ability to motivate, challenge and develop others
  • Experience handling people matters including performance improvement, absence management, and team development
  • Organised, structured, and solutions focused, with consistent follow through
  • Patient-centred mindset with confidence managing concerns and complaints effectively
  • Experienced in Multi-site operations or as a Business development manager.
Desirable
  • Management qualification or relevant leadership development
  • Previous experience in a private dental or private healthcare setting
  • Experience improving treatment conversion and patient journey performance through process and coaching
