Job summary

Ye Olde Jolly Sailor and King William Pubs in Teignmouth are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness across both venues. The role requires early-morning shifts from 8:00 to 10:30 and involvement across Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You will perform general cleaning, manage waste, restock supplies, and follow health and safety guidelines while working independently. A tidy, reliable approach and 1 year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, dusting and vacuuming.
• Empty bins and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, tables and chairs.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper and soap.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to management.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and work efficiently.
• Work independently to complete tasks in a timely manner.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at Ye Olde Jolly Sailor and King William Pubs.

Both located in the charming seaside town of Teignmouth. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our establishments, ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for our customers.

The role will be to facilitate cleaning across both venues.
Cleaning hours required are 8am until 10.30am.

Looking for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday working days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Empty bins and replace liners
• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas, such as door handles, tables, and chairs

• Work efficiently and independently to complete tasks in a timely manner
