Agincare in the UK seeks a Dual Registered Manager to oversee the opening and ongoing operation of two brand new children’s residential homes in Redcar and Cleveland. You will lead teams, ensure high-quality care, and maintain full regulatory compliance as services register.

You will shape service development, build positive team cultures, implement safeguarding standards, and prepare the homes for registration and inspection, delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people while

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma required for leadership of residential childcare services.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in children’s residential care, with 3 years in a managerial role.
• In-depth safeguarding knowledge and Ofsted regulations understanding.
• Experience planning and implementing care plans with high-quality documentation as per regulations.
• Experience supporting children with learning disabilities and complex behaviours.
• Experience leading Ofsted inspections and opening/developing new services advantageous.

Circa upto £65,000 per annum, Depending on Skills and Experience

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated leader to oversee the opening of two brand new children's residential homes within Redcar and Cleveland . Operating under a dual registration, you will have the unique opportunity to influence every aspect of service development, from creating positive team cultures and implementing outstanding care practices to preparing both homes for registration and inspection.

About the Role

As the Dual Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our children’s residential homes located in Redcar and Cleveland.

As an experienced manager, you will confidently lead and support dedicated teams, fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where children and staff can thrive . You will play a key role in establishing and developing this new service, ensuring high-quality care delivery while maintaining full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape and embed best practice across these homes from the outset, ensuring outstanding outcomes for the children and young people we support .

What You Need to Be Successful in This Role

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in children’s residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding,Ofstedregulations, and relevant legislation in children’s services.
• Experience in planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard in line withChildren’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015and Quality Standards.
• Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities who may display complex behaviours.
• Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.
• Experience opening or developing new services is advantageous.
