Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters in Shetland is seeking a Dual Fuel/Smart Meter Engineer to exchange meters in customers’ homes and provide a thorough after-care demonstration of the new meter. You will repair and maintain meters after install, ensuring accurate and reliable readings.

The role offers banding A/B salaries (£39,923–£41,571 per annum) with an OTE for DF engineers (£48–£53K). A performance bonus, weekly meter fit bonus, and additional benefits are included.

Qualifications

MET1 required.
CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 required.
Single phase electric experience required.
MOCOPA (1a and 1c) required.
REGT1 and polyphase electric experience desirable.
Full UK Driving licence required.
Minimum of 6 months experience fitting dual fuel smart meters.
3 phase or single-off multi experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
Provide a first class after-care service with a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.
