Job summary

Orion Smart Metering is seeking experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join our engineering team. We offer a permanent salary option at £45,000 per year, with company van, tools, and a structured bonus scheme. Flexible day-rate options are also available with a clear progression path.

Roles involve installing and exchanging smart meters in domestic properties, delivering excellent customer service, and following safety regulations. Weekdays with some weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Smart Metering qualification or relevant industry diploma.
• CMA1 or CCN1 & MET1 certification is required or desirable.
• MOCOPA certification (or willingness to complete during induction).
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• DBS check (preferably issued within the last 3 months).
• EUSR registration is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Installing and exchanging smart metering equipment in domestic properties.
• Providing excellent customer service and technical support.
• Completing work safely and in line with industry regulations.
• Accurately recording job information and compliance documentation.
• Representing Orion Smart Metering professionally within customers' homes.
