Job summary

Orion Smart Metering is hiring experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to support national contracts across the UK. You can choose a Permanent Salary Package or day-rate options, with a company van, fuel card, tools, PPE and uniform provided.

The role requires a Smart Metering qualification (CMA1/CCN1/MET1), MOCOPA, full UK driving licence and a DBS check. You’ll install, exchange and service meters in domestic properties, uphold safety standards, document work and represent Orion

Qualifications

• Smart Metering qualification or relevant industry diploma.
• CMA1 or CCN1 & MET1.
• MOCOPA certification (or willingness to complete during induction).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• DBS check (preferably issued within the last 3 months).
• EUSR registration (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Install and exchange smart metering equipment in domestic properties.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
• Complete work safely and in line with industry regulations.
• Accurately recording job information and compliance documentation.
• Represent Orion Smart Metering professionally within customers' homes.
