Job Overview

We’re on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution and need a Smart Meter Engineer to help turn that vision into reality. You’ll be representing our brands in customers’ homes, fitting meters, showing the in‑home display and explaining how our solutions help them save energy and support the green energy revolution.

Responsibilities

• Fit smart meters and in‑home displays in customer homes.
• Explain meter and display operation to customers.
• Provide information on energy-saving options and answer questions about the green energy revolution.
• Complete routine and technical maintenance of installation sites.

Qualifications

• MOCoPA registration within the last 3 years and able to provide evidence.
• Gas Safe registration – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.

Compensation & Benefits

• £36,500 starting salary.

Call‑out & Overtime

• Rotating call‑out schedule every five weeks (Monday‑Sunday) with a £250 retainer.
• Saturday work pays £50 for attendance.
• Dual‑fuel installation paid £70, single‑fuel £35; technical aborts paid at half rate.
