Qualifications

• Previous Dual Fuel Smart Metering experience.
• CMA1/CCN1, REGT1, MET1 and MET2 qualifications.
• Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel/Power) or proof of electrical competence.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain smart meters to high technical standard.
• Carry out communication testing for metering and loggers.
• Deliver a positive customer experience on every visit.
• Proactively communicate with customers ahead of appointments.
• Work closely with delivery support teams to ensure smooth job completion.
• Maintain safety standards and follow procedures.
• Manage stock, tools and company equipment responsibly.
• Support colleagues with problematic jobs and emergency cover.
• Promote the benefits of smart metering clearly and professionally to customers.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence and safe working practices.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint a Dual Fuel Engineer to cover the CA postcode area. You will play a key role in delivering smart metering services to customers, representing the business professionally in the field and helping maintain high levels of safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.

What Were Looking For

• Previous Dual Fuel Smart Metering experience
• CMA1/CCN1, REGT1, MET1 and MET2
• Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel/Power) or proof of electrical competence
• Strong technical ability with a focus on exceptional first fit levels
• A proactive approach to pre-visit customer communication
• Good knowledge of industry governance and compliance
• A full UK driving licence
