Qualifications

• Prior practical experience in workshop or DT Technician roles.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• Willingness to apply for Enhanced Child DBS.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear materials for D&T lessons.
• Conduct regular checks and maintenance of machinery.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
• Manage stock levels within budget.
• Provide technical support to students and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of workshop areas.
• Operate and support specialist digital manufacturing equipment.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors.
• Assist with creation of risk assessments.
• Support creation of departmental displays.
