Job summary

Minerva Learning Trust is seeking a DT Technician to support teaching staff across the department, preparing equipment for Food lessons and ensuring safe workshop conditions. The role focuses on practical preparation and health and safety within the DT area of the school.

The post is permanent, part-time (30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year) with a salary on NJC Grade 3, FTE point 5 to 6, £25,583 to £25,989 (pay award pending). Closing date 5 October 2026.

Qualifications

Annual Salary £17,841.75 – £18,124.90 (under 5 years service)

We are seeking to appoint DT Technician. The successful candidate will assist teaching staff across the Department in providing safe areas for students and teaching staff. The DT Technician will provide support, by the preparation of equipment for the subject including Food lessons. The DT Technician will undertake a practical health and safety role for the relevant department.
