Job summary

GREENLIGHT TRAINING LIMITED is seeking Interior Systems operatives to install, repair and maintain internal walls, partitions and ceilings on diverse sites across the region. You will prepare work areas, review drawings, and work with site teams in occupied buildings while following strict safety standards.

The role involves measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work areas and review plans or drawings
• Install partition walls, suspended ceilings, and raised floors
• Fit doors, frames, and other interior components
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment safely
• Work at height safely using ladders, scaffolding, or platforms
• Follow health and safety procedures on site at all times
• Collaborate with other tradespeople as part of a project team
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition
• Learn finishing techniques to ensure high-quality installations

Salary: National Minimum Wage for Apprentices — £16,640 a year

Interior Systems operatives work in construction, installing, repairing and maintaining internal walls, partitions and ceilings on projects from homes to iconic sites. They work with site teams in active or occupied buildings, often at height, following strict safety standards, with strong career progression.
