Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a Dry Stores Operative to join our busy Supply Chain team at Grantham. You will unload ingredients and packaging from lorries, receipt deliveries in SAP, and manage stock movement with a proactive, team-focused approach.

The role offers rotating shifts 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, Monday to Friday, with a starting salary around £30,056 per year. On-site parking and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stores or warehouse operations.
• FLT, Reach Truck or PPT licence.
• Stock control or stock-taking experience.
• Knowledge of SAP systems.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive and organised approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Unloading ingredients, materials and packaging from lorries.
• Liaising with delivery drivers.
• Receipting deliveries using the SAP system.
• Decanting ingredients and ensuring timely supply of materials to production.
• Stock movement and rotation.
• Processing returns from production.
• Stock taking and inventory checks.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards.
• Supporting the team with additional duties as required.
