Job summary

My Four Wheels Limited in Goole, Yorkshire, is recruiting as a Driving School Instructor. We train you from scratch to become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) with nationwide support and a simple career path.

Typical rates are £38 per hour, with the freedom to choose mornings, evenings, weekends or full-time. You’ll teach locally (within about 30 minutes of home) and access our Training Academy with structured DVSA Part 1–3 progression and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years

Responsibilities

• Facilitate driving lessons and help learners become independent drivers.
• Support students to pass DVSA tests and progress through the ADI pathway.

Excellent Earning Potential

£38/hour typical lesson rates. Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, supporting strong income whether you work part-time or full-time. You decide when you work: mornings, evenings, weekends, or a full-time diary.

Local Work, Less Travel

Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, typically covering 6–8 postcodes, helping you maximise teaching time and reduce travel. After passing DVSA Part 2, you are able to apply for a trainee licence, allowing you to begin teaching and earning sooner while completing the final stage of qualification.

Training Academy & Full Support

Our new Training Academy provides a structured route through DVSA Parts 1, 2, and 3, combining:

• Flexible online learning for theory and preparation
• In-car coaching to build driving and teaching ability
• Lesson plans, resources, and ongoing support to help you succeed

We can support you with access to dual-control car options through established providers, including models such as Ford Puma, Renault Clio, MG3, and Vauxhall Corsa, subject to availability.

You’ll help learners gain independence, improve road safety, and experience the satisfaction of seeing students pass and succeed.

Training Fees Paid Back in Full

All instructors pay for training. Training fees can be paid back in full after you have worked with us for 1 year (ask for details).
