Job summary

My Four Wheels Limited is recruiting driving instructors to join our nationwide team. We offer full training to become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and flexible scheduling to fit your life. The typical rate is around £38 per hour, with earning potential advertised up to £50,000+.

Instructors usually teach within 30 minutes of home, with local postcodes and reduced travel. Training fees are paid back after one year of service, with ongoing support from our Training Academy.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years.
• Complete DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3 training via our Training Academy.

Responsibilities

• Teach learner drivers and help them gain independence on the road.
• Contribute to improving road safety through effective driving instruction.
• Support students through the phases of DVSA qualification and success.

We'll train you from the start and guide you all the way to becoming an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

Excellent Earning Potential (£38/hour typical lesson rates)

Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, supporting strong income whether you work part-time or full-time. You decide when you work - mornings, evenings, weekends, or a full-time diary.

Local Work, Less Travel

Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, typically covering 6-8 postcodes, helping you maximise teaching time and reduce travel. After passing DVSA Part 2, you are able to apply for a trainee licence, allowing you to begin teaching and earning sooner while completing the final stage of qualification.

New Training Academy - Full Support Built In

Our new Training Academy provides a structured route through DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3, combining:

• Flexible online learning for theory and preparation
• In-car coaching to build driving and teaching ability
• Lesson plans, resources and ongoing support to help you succeed

We can support you with access to dual-control car options through established providers, including new and nearly-new models such as Ford Puma, Renault Clio, MG3 and Vauxhall Corsa, subject to availability. You'll help learners gain independence, improve road safety, and experience the satisfaction of seeing students pass and succeed.

Training Fees Paid Back in Full

All instructors pay for training. Training fees can be paid back in full after you have worked with us for 1 year (ask for details).
