Job Overview

A 25‑year‑old male with ASD is seeking a personal assistant who owns a vehicle.

The role offers up to 15 hours per week, with potential for additional hours if necessary.

The candidate must be self‑employed and own a car.

The individual enjoys hot food while out and will not eat cold food.

A PA with PDA awareness is required.

Responsibilities

The PA will provide one‑to‑one support and help the individual get into the community, pursue personal interests and engage in social and leisure activities.

Planning outings, offering encouragement, and visiting theme parks.

Supporting activities such as pottery, painting and gym sessions.

Transport support: chaperone from 12‑5pm to Fly Cheese in Sheffield starting January 2026; from September 2026 chaperone to and from Nottingham twice a week for college, and once a week to Fly Cheese in Sheffield.

Requirements

Must be self‑employed.

Must own a car and hold a clean driver’s licence.

Experience with individuals with ASD and PDA awareness required.

Available up to 15 hours per week in the S44 area.
