My Four Wheels Limited in Waterlooville is expanding its DVSA training academy to welcome new Driving Instructors. We provide the path from trainee to Approved Driving Instructor and support you with training and resources.

You’ll learn from the ground up, coach learners, teach theory online, and gain access to a range of car options while building a flexible, earnings‑potential role across the UK.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teaching skills.
• Interest or experience in driver education and training.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Guide learners through the ADI training pathway and practical assessments.
• Deliver in-car coaching and theory preparation using online resources.
• Support learners to pass DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3 and gain a trainee licence.

We'll train you from the start and guide you all the way to becoming an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

Excellent Earning Potential (£38/hour typical lesson rates)

Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, supporting strong income whether you work part-time or full-time. You decide when you work - mornings, evenings, weekends, or a full-time diary.

Local Work, Less Travel

Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, typically covering 6-8 postcodes, helping you maximise teaching time and reduce travel. After passing DVSA Part 2, you are able to apply for a trainee licence, allowing you to begin teaching and earning sooner while completing the final stage of qualification.

New Training Academy - Full Support Built In

Our new Training Academy provides a structured route through DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3, combining:

• Flexible online learning for theory and preparation
• In-car coaching to build driving and teaching ability
• Lesson plans, resources and ongoing support to help you succeed

We can support you with access to dual-control car options through established providers, including new and nearly-new models such as Ford Puma, Renault Clio, MG3 and Vauxhall Corsa, subject to availability.

You’ll help learners gain independence, improve road safety, and experience the satisfaction of seeing students pass and succeed.

Training Fees Paid Back in Full

All instructors pay for training. Training fees can be paid back in full after you have worked with us for 1 year (ask for details).
