Job summary

My Four Wheels Limited is expanding across the UK and recruiting Driving Instructors. We provide full training to become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and support you through DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3.

You'll teach locally with 30-minute travel on average and set your own diary. Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, and earnings can reach £50,000+ with flexible mornings, evenings, weekends, or full-time work.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years.
• Interested in becoming an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) via DVSA Parts 1-3.
• Willing to complete the Training Academy program.

Responsibilities

• Teach learners and guide them through DVSA qualifications.
• Work with a flexible diary to maximise earnings.
• Assist with lesson planning and use provided training resources.

Excellent Earning Potential

Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, supporting strong income whether you work part-time or full-time. You decide when you work - mornings, evenings, weekends, or a full-time diary.

Local Work, Less Travel

Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, typically covering 6-8 postcodes, helping you maximise teaching time and reduce travel. After passing DVSA Part 2, you are able to apply for a trainee licence, allowing you to begin teaching and earning sooner while completing the final stage of qualification.

New Training Academy - Full Support Built In

Our new Training Academy provides a structured route through DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3, combining:

• Flexible online learning for theory and preparation
• In-car coaching to build driving and teaching ability
• Lesson plans, resources and ongoing support to help you succeed

We can support you with access to dual-control car options through established providers, including new and nearly-new models such as Ford Puma, Renault Clio, MG3 and Vauxhall Corsa, subject to availability.

You'll help learners gain independence, improve road safety, and experience the satisfaction of seeing students pass and succeed.

Training Fees Paid Back in Full

All instructors pay for training. Training fees can be paid back in full after you have worked with us for 1 year (ask for details).
