Job summary

My Four Wheels Limited is seeking driving instructors to join our nationwide team. We train you from the start to become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and place you with learners across the UK.

Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, with the option to work mornings, evenings, weekends or full-time. We provide a structured training academy and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach and assess learner drivers.
• Strong communication and safety-focused approach.
• Wollows through DVSA framework and progression.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured driving lessons and monitor learner progress.
• Assist learners to complete DVSA qualifications.
• Promote road safety and responsible driving; adapt lessons to individual needs.

We’ll train you from the start and guide you all the way to becoming an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

Excellent Earning Potential (£38/hour typical lesson rates)

Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, supporting strong income whether you work part-time or full-time.

• You decide when you work mornings, evenings, weekends, or a full-time diary.
• Local Work, Less Travel
• Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, typically covering 6-8 postcodes, helping you maximise teaching time and reduce travel.
• After passing DVSA Part 2, you are able to apply for a trainee licence, allowing you to begin teaching and earning sooner while completing the final stage of qualification.

New Training Academy Full Support Built In

Our new Training Academy provides a structured route through DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3, combining:

• Flexible online learning for theory and preparation
• In-car coaching to build driving and teaching ability
• Lesson plans, resources and ongoing support to help you succeed

We can support you with access to dual-control car options through established providers, including new and nearly-new models such as Ford Puma, Renault Clio, MG3 and Vauxhall Corsa, subject to availability.

You’ll help learners gain independence, improve road safety, and experience the satisfaction of seeing students pass and succeed.

All instructors pay for training. Training fees can be paid back in full after you have worked with us for 1 year (ask for details).
