About the Role

An ambitious primary school in Kingston is seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their KS2 phase from January 2026. The successful Year 5 Teacher will plan and deliver a broad, ambitious curriculum that secures strong progress in reading, writing and mathematics, and will lead curriculum projects and whole‑school initiatives within a collaborative leadership culture. The role also includes responsibility for booster groups, rich topic work and excellent home‑school communications.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and teach engaging Year 5 lessons that build knowledge and skills sequentially.
  • Use assessment effectively to set targets and deliver timely support for pupils.
  • Lead small‑group interventions and monitor the impact of actions on progress.

Qualifications
