Automation Experts in Hampshire is seeking Drives Service Engineers to service and repair electrical drives and control systems across customer sites. This varied, hands-on role focuses on three-phase motor starters, variable speed drives, and panel modifications, with a clear emphasis on fault finding and customer support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience fault finding and repairing variable speed drives.
• 17th or 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
• Ability to modify existing control panels and read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repair of electrical installations and control systems.
• Working with three-phase motor starters, star/delta, soft starters, and VSDs.
• Installation and commissioning of variable speed drives.
• Removal and replacement of motor starters and associated control gear.
• Modifications to existing control panels.
• Collaborating with customers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Participation in a call-out rota to support reactive maintenance.
