Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking a driver’s mate for a well-known brewing company in the Midlands. You will support the HGV/van driver, unload beer kegs and crates, and ensure safe, timely deliveries to pubs and restaurants.

This is a customer-facing role with some paperwork; start hourly wage £12.81 rising to £13.11. The role includes up to 28 days of annual leave, and long shifts Monday to Friday from 04:00 until finish (approximately 12:00).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in driving, drivers’ mate, Draymen or warehousing will be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with unloading beer kegs and crates.
• Deliver to pubs and restaurants across the Midlands.
• Handle paperwork and provide good customer service.

We need you as a driver’s mate for this well-known brewing company. If you’ve got experience in driving, drivers’ mate, drayman or warehousing then this will be ideal for you.

You’ll be assisting the HGV or Van driver in unloading beer kegs, and crates of drinks and delivering them safely and quickly to pubs and restaurants across the midlands.

This is a customer facing role, with some paperwork included so a good level of understanding and customer service is needed.

Hourly Rate: £12.81ph starting wage rising to £13.11ph. We do not offer visa sponsorshipWe do not offer visa sponsorship

Working Hours: Monday to Friday working from 04:00 till finish (approx 12:00)
