Job summary

A staffing agency is recruiting Customer Delivery Assistants to join a well-known retailer in Morley. Responsibilities include ensuring correct loading of deliveries, confirming slots with customers, and assisting drivers with their duties. Ideal candidates will have a polite manner, reliability, and the ability to handle large items. Working weekends is required. This is a long-term opportunity with a shift pattern of 5 out of 8 days.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Comfortable with manual handling of large and heavy items.
• Availability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the van is loaded with all stock present and correct.
• Call customers to confirm delivery slots professionally.
• Support the Driver with duties as required.
• Deliver items to customers’ homes, including heavy goods.

Unity Personnel have recently partnered with a well‑known leading retailer of technology products and services, operating through online and 829 stores in 7 countries.

Due to an increase in demand, we are now recruiting for Drivers Mates to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the van is loaded and all stock is present and correct.
• Calling customers to confirm delivery slots in a polite and professional manner.
• Supporting the Driver with duties as required.
• Delivery to customers’ homes which will require manual handling as it could be anything from a kettle to large American fridge freezers.

• Polite and professional manner.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good attention to detail.
• Excellent customer services.
• Flexible in your approach.
• This is working weekends only.
• Previous experience within a similar role.
• OK with manual handling as some items are large and heavy.

You will be put on a rota that works 5 shifts over 8 days and this is a long term opportunity. You must be OK with working weekends.

7.30am start until finish.

Please note that a Basic DBS check will need to be done in order to progress with the role.
