Job summary

Omnia Resourcing Ltd has a Driver's Mate opportunity in Hedge End/Southampton. The role is long-term/permanent with a salary around £28k and benefits, starting 07:00 and rolling 5 on 3 off rota.

You will join a two-person delivery crew, delivering to customers, handling paperwork, and performing heavy lifting. DBS and drugs/alcohol tests are part of induction, and you may need to travel to nearby depots like Basingstoke. Weekend work is included.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points - no DR, TT, or IN10 endorsements).
• Able to work weekends as part of your rota, and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers' homes and flats.

Drivers Mate

Location: Hedge End, Southampton

We are proud to be working in partnership with a leading client based in Hedge End. We're currently recruiting Drivers Mate for long-term and temp-to-perm positions. Permanent salary circa £28k + loads of bens

You need be able to get to Basingstoke, work weekends as part of your rota. You will have a DBS & Drug & Alcohol test as part of the induction.

Pay Rates

• £12.81 per hour - PAYE
• £19.21 per hour - Overtime

Shift Details

Start time: 07:00am until finish

Rolling rota: 5 days on, 3 days off

Includes both weekdays and weekends as per your rota
