Job summary

Hotpoint UK is seeking permanent, full-time Driver Mates at our West Thurrock Depot. You will train at our Manchester Academy, assist with unloading and installing appliances, and support a Driver throughout deliveries.

The role offers earnings around £35,330.74 with overtime, meal allowance, pension match up to 5%, and a rolling 4-week rota. Training, PPE, and vehicle support are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn basic plumbing and electrical connections.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install white goods.

Job description

You’ll be contracted to 39.19 hours per week with regular overtime available, working a day-shift rota of 5 days from 6, starting between 6am-7am and working just 2 in 4 Saturdays.

What will you be doing?

You’ll begin with a fully funded week of training at our award-winning Training Academy in Manchester. There, you’ll gain the skills needed to deliver and install white goods, along with the chance to pick up some handy DIY skills that you can use at home.

You’ll work alongside a Driver to assist with unloading and installing appliances. You must be comfortable handling heavy items and always show respect for customers’ homes.
