Job summary

Evri Group is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Cat C) drivers for night shifts at our Normanton depot in West Yorkshire. You will transport palletised parcels to couriers or pick up from delivery units, ensuring paperwork is accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly-qualified drivers welcome; however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Night Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Normanton depot.

• £16.16 per hour with an overtime rate of £24.24 once full-time hours are completed.

What You'll Do

Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (that's where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4-5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week, but flexible contracts and part-time hours are available. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

Essential Skills & Experience Required

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly-qualified drivers are welcome; however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
