Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking a Driver Labourer to join our Non-Mechanical Division. You will help maintain a safe, tidy workshop and yard, ensure equipment is cleaned and ready for customers, and assist with loading, delivering and returning hire gear to sites.

Based at our depot, you will work with a team and may demonstrate equipment on customer sites while handling required checks and administration to ensure smooth hire processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labourer role, preferably in a hire depot/yard.
• Willing to support colleagues and work as part of a team.
• Full driving licence essential; CSCS card and forklift licence preferable.

Responsibilities

• Keep workshop and yard areas clean, tidy and hazard-free; store tools correctly.
• Pressure-clean equipment leaving the depot and prepare for customers.
• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to and from customer sites.
• On customer sites, perform hire equipment demonstrations and complete relevant checks and administration.
