Job description

Foodles are an innovative start‑up in the UK coming from a very successful launch in France. We offer Smart connected fridges to our clients with fresh chef‑cooked meals to fulfil their employees food launched in London where we are expanding daily and building a team to experience the same success and growth that we have had in France.

Role

This is a full‑time role responsible for delivering our fresh meals directly to client fridges. Your duties will include collecting food from our warehouse(s), operating a refrigerated van to transport orders to customers, replenishing client fridges and collecting stock from our suppliers. Additionally you will be responsible for various warehouse operations and related tasks.

We are seeking a dependable reliable and responsible delivery driver committed to providing excellent prompt service and maintaining high standards of professionalism at all times.

This is a physically demanding role where driving is only one aspect of your responsibilities. Prior to dispatching you may also be asked to assist with product picking for clients. At our client locations your task will be to transport products to client fridges sometimes over long walks and ensure they are restocked to the correct levels.

When collecting stock from our suppliers you will be required to strictly adhere to health and safety protocols. The role requires strong attention to detail while maintaining efficiency. You will also be the face of the company on‑site serving as the eyes and ears of our operations. Its essential that you ensure fridges are functioning correctly where applicable, are well‑maintained and looks professional at all times.

Operations Delivery

• Accurately picking items in accordance with the pick list with a strong focus on attention to detail to ensure each client receives the correct products. Additionally ensuring all stock en route is properly accounted for at all times.
• Ensuring the correct allocated stock is given to the client and fridges are restocked in accordance to our guidelines.
• Maintain correct stock rotation and ensure cleanliness of both our smart fridges and customer fridges (where applicable) at all times.
• Represent and convey the image of Foodles to customers.
• Report any problem or information relating to the delivery (difficulty of access to a customer road traffic problem etc.).
• Unload the vehicle on return to the warehouse: discard any expired products properly store the delivery boxes and return all equipment used during the shift.
• Ensure the van is thoroughly cleaned at the end of each shift.
• Perform checks on the vehicle you drive and perform first‑level maintenance if required.

Your profile

• Honest Reliable and Dependable.
• Communication is key keeping managers informed and up to date.
• You have a full clean UK Driving Licence.
• You have experience in picking and packing or restocking.
• You have a minimum 1 year driving experience in London.
• You are highly organised and punctual: who can adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• You love food and experience delivering or working with food or hospitality.
• You have Health and Safety Knowledge.
• Flexibility and comfortable reacting to emerging priorities.

• English – Intermediate.
