Job summary

GFS (Global Freight Solutions Ltd) is hiring a Driver / Warehouse Assistant in the UK to ensure smooth movement of goods, handle daily collections and deliveries, and support warehouse operations.

You will drive company vehicles, perform routine safety checks, maintain vehicle presentation, and proactively communicate delivery updates to customers while upholding health and safety and brand standards.

Qualifications

• A full, valid driving licence is essential for the role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety practices in a warehouse and transport environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily collections from customers and deliveries to the Warrington depot.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading of goods and vehicle safety checks.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks (tyres, lights, fluids) and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness/presentation of company vehicles and communicate with customers on updates.
• Support warehouse operations, including unloading deliveries and coordinating servicing/repairs.
